The 6NAPSE Group carries out tests according to the ISO 3744 and ISO 3745 standards to measure the sound power levels and the sound energy levels of products.

ISO 3744 and ISO 3745 certification specifies methods for determining sound power levels and sound energy levels emitted by noise sources from sound pressure levels. It includes expertise methods for conditions approaching those of the free field on a reflecting plane. The sound power level produced is calculated using these measurements.

Testing environments can be indoors or outdoors. Additionally, they may include one or more reflective acoustic planes. The ideal measurement environment is a free space such as the semi-anechoic chamber.

ISO 3744 and ISO 3745, standardized acoustic tests​

The 6NAPSE Group conducts acoustic tests according to the ISO 3744 and the ISO 3745 standards in a semi-anechoic chamber. We determine the sound power levels of parts and products. We also measure the levels of acoustic energy emitted by your noise sources.

We carry out acoustic measurements and offer noise reduction solutions in general. Our center specializing in acoustics and vibration helps manufacturers design low-noise products.

The methods apply to all types of noise (steady, unsteady, fluctuating, isolated acoustic impulses, etc.). In addition, they also apply to all types of noise sources, regardless of their size.
