Understand and determine the origin of a failure

Failure or defect expertise is one of the key skills of the 6NAPSE Group’s materials laboratories. Through the complementarity of the teams’ expertise and experience from all sectors, we support manufacturers in many cases of defects and failures.

Our skills allow an analysis of the causes, an identification of the origin of a defect or an accompaniment to the resolution of a failure.

In which cases do we intervene? Failure is not easy. As soon as there is a premature evolution of a system or a product, there are microscopic clues on the surface or in the heart that make it possible to determine the history of a defect.

Our teams analyze the context of the industrial’s request in order to offer the appropriate expertise in our laboratories or with a specialist partner (if specific skills). We are equipped and can analyze all types of materials (polymers, ceramics, metals, glasses), through the competence of our in-house experts.
