What is energy conversion ?

Electronic energy conversion refers to the process of converting electrical energy from one form to another using electronic devices. This power electronics is used in many applications, such as power supply systems for motor control computers, battery charging, solar energy production, LED lighting, wireless transmissions, etc.

Development, design, up to the converter prototype

  1. Formalization of needs: the client provides specifications for a tailor-made converter or we help to formalize their needs.
  2. Search for technical solutions: we search for technical solutions and estimate the time needed to develop the product.
  3. Design: after the validation of the estimate, we begin the design by carrying out calculations and simulations on LT SPICE to refine the model and measure the powers in order to define the list of critical components required.
  4. Virtual diagram and routing placement: we draw a detailed diagram of the electronic card (on the Altium designer software) and do the routing placement, i.e. the translation of the diagram into a physical card in the software to make the connections between the components.
  5. Component orders: we order the necessary components and have the characteristics of the printed circuit on hand to manufacture the assembly of the electronic card.
  6. Tests: we test the electronic card to check if the assembly meets the specifications.
  7. Iterations: we repeat the previous steps until the delivery of the prototype.
