Aeroacoustic measurement

The 6NAPSE Group performs aeroacoustic measurement and acoustic and vibration characterization of systems in the presence of controlled air flow.

Noise from neighborhood and leisure, industry, road and rail infrastructure or airport noise: these noise pollution can be the cause of many inconveniences in the environment around them.

Indeed, the aero-acoustic measurement allows us to fight against noise pollution, to better develop a space or a territory or to plan a situation in order to improve the living environment of the population.

Aeroacoustic measurement by 6NAPSE Group

The 6NAPSE Group supports manufacturers in their aeroacoustic measurements and acoustic or vibration characterization of active or passive systems in the presence of controlled air flow.

Thanks to the aeroacoustic flow bench installed in the semi-anechoic chamber of our laboratory, the 6NAPSE Group is able to:

• Carry out characterizations of acoustic performance in the presence of an air flow up to 100m/s
• Measure free field sound pressure levels
• Control of the air flow speed
• Measure airflows
• Study your needs and analyze the possibility of adapting the bench to carry out your tests.

This means of characterization can be accompanied by means of measurement such as microphones, accelerometers, or even vibration mapping obtained by scanning laser vibrometry to identify areas of vibrational weaknesses on complex geometries.
