EMC Testing in electromagnetic reverberation chamber
The 6NAPSE Group carries out EMC testing and offers support for the development of electronic devices in electromagnetic compatibility.
About EMC
Testing (EMC) consists of verifying the ability of an electrical or electronic system to function correctly in the environment for which the device is intended, without itself producing electromagnetic disturbances that other devices in its environment cannot withstand.
EMC tests characterize:
- The electromagnetic emissions of an equipment in radiated and conducted mode
- The ability to operate as expected in the presence of disturbances: radiated immunity, conducted immunity, transient, lightning, electrostatic discharges, etc.
EMC Testing
Development tests for electromagnetic compatibility
Our tests are part of the preparation for product approval to identify potential EMC issues and resolve them.
- Pre-qualification
- Conducted emissions from 9 kHz to 400 MHz
- Radiated emissions from 200-250 MHz to 6 GHz
- Conducted susceptibility / immunity ESD (Electrostatic discharge) and BCI (Bulk current injection) from 10 kHz to 400 MHz
- Radiated susceptibility / immunity from 200-250 MHz to 1 GHz to 75 V/M
- Custom testing and prototyping for development
6NAPSE Group assets
- Development and prequalification in a Mode Stirred Reverberation Chamber (MSRC) backed by an electronics design office
- Power electronics analysis capacity and expertise
- Laboratory with equipment for iterative problem solving (ferrite, capacitor, soldering iron, copper adhesive tape, 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC, etc.)
