Indeed, during the manufacture of the product, it happens that precious metals such as gold, silver or even platinum are mixed with other metals. This phenomenon can in particular affect the resistance, the preciousness, the shine or even the color of the product.

Our laboratory supports you in the dosage of precious metals in your alloys and checks their chemical composition. We thus ensure the compliance of metal alloys in compliance with regulatory requirements and specifications.

Precious metals analysis

The 6NAPSE Group analyzes the content of precious metals and controls the grades of metal alloys. Our laboratory checks both the precious metal content within the alloys and also the content of other substances present.

Thus, we offer semi-quantitative material analysis, via Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM-EDX) or X-ray fluorescence to globally determine the composition of a material. Then, the quantitative analysis allows to validate more precisely the shade of the metallic material. For this we use SEO, ICP analysis and LECO carbon-sulfur.
