Robot arm for mechanical testing

bras robot pour essais d'endurance mécanique

The 6NAPSE Group uses a robot arm for its mechanical tests. Multiaxial, the robot arm can operate for complex movement profiles and simulate movements as close as possible to reality.

Mechanical tests (static, endurance and fatigue)

The 6NAPSE Group carries out mechanical, fatigue or maneuver tests, using robot arms. The arm offers several degrees of freedom in displacement with the possibility of evolving in a multiaxial environment.

The use of a robotic arm makes it possible to simplify and lighten the interface tools reproducing the vehicle or living environment. The test environment can be carried out at ambient temperature or with climatic and hygrometric control in a specific box.

Mechanical endurance tests

Mechanical endurance tests consist of the application of repetitive movements on a given system. Being able to be associated with more or less important and complex displacements, these tests make it possible to test the functional characteristics of the tested system and to evaluate its behavior under the repetition of requests.

Fatigue tests

Fatigue tests consist of the application of alternating tensile/compressive stresses, generally of low amplitude, on the parts to be tested.

Applications

  • Door opening endurance on complex movements (e.g. scissor doors)
  • Reproduction of the kinematics of automotive wiring (e.g. doors, tailgates, slides, etc.)
