ISTA 3A Testing
Our testing laboratory carries out ISTA 3A tests to simulate the transport of packages weighing less than 68kg (150 lb).
What is ISTA 3A ?
The ISTA 3A test procedure is a standardized protocol designed to evaluate the resilience of product packaging under various shipping conditions. It applies to products packaged for parcel delivery system shipments weighing up to 68kg (150 lbs). The ISTA 3A procedure provides a rigorous framework for evaluating the resistance of packaging to the stresses of transportation.
ISTA 3A Testing by 6NAPSE
6NAPSE Group is an “ISTA certified Testing Laboratory”. Our testing laboratory conducts ISTA 3A testing to ensure product integrity. Our tests apply to individually packaged products shipped via a parcel delivery system.
Our ISTA 3A tests are suitable for standard, small, flat and elongated parcels distributed as individual parcels, by air or ground.
- Drop Test: assessment of impact resistance during drops.
- Vibration testing: simulation of transport conditions to verify the durability of the packaging.
- Compression Test: capacity of the packaging to resist crushing and stacking of cartons during palletization
- Climatic Test: resistance to temperature and humidity variations.
This procedure is an important tool for manufacturers and shippers, ensuring that their products can withstand the rigors of transport.
In addition, 6NAPSE Group conducts tests according to an extensive list of ISTA protocols.
