The 6NAPSE Group supports manufacturers in the acoustic and vibration analysis of their systems.

Our design office supports manufacturers, equipment manufacturers and industrialists (large groups, SMEs and SMIs) in all sectors. We solve daily problems encountered in acoustics, vibrations and reliability, and support product development by offering cutting-edge methodologies and testing resources.

Acoustic analysis

Our design office carries out tests, measurements and simulation in order to characterize and optimize your product.

  • Acoustic testing: testing and quantification of the sound level, insulation or sound absorption of a product.
  • Acoustic measurement: data acquisition in a test center or on site using microphones, sound level meters and other measuring instruments, assessment of sound level and noise characterization (measurement of radiated sound power, measurement of pressure level sound)
  • Aero-acoustic measurement: aero-acoustic measurement and acoustic and vibration characterization of systems in the presence of controlled aeraulic flow.
  • Characterization of the acoustic properties of materials: characterization of the sound absorption coefficient, attenuation index, insertion loss (also possible on large surfaces)

We have a semi-anechoic chamber to place the product in open field conditions. We also use acoustic measurement means, acoustic characterization of materials means and benches to reproduce particular conditions (dynamic tests on vehicles or controlled air flow).

    Acoustic simulation

    Modeling of the sound environment and system noise (airborne or solid noise) to improve sound quality through optimized acoustic design.

    Vibration simulation

    Simulation of the vibration behavior of the structure or system studied. We also carry out seismic simulation.

    The vibro-acoustic optimization of a product inexorably passes through a precise identification of the main vibro-acoustic phenomena encountered in the various life situations.

    The expertise of CEVAA, specialist in vibro-acoustics of the 6NAPSE Group, is based on experience, accumulated through the many issues addressed for all of our customers and in the context of collaborative research projects, which offers our experts a quick understanding of the problems of our customers and a first framing of the requested study.

    We have skills in static and dynamic multi-physics finite element calculations as well as in vibro-acoustic and multi-physics tests. Thus, the Group offers the best suited and most optimized service to validate hypotheses of anticipated behavior of the defective system. Our services are generally based on physical tests but can be supplemented by hybrid calculation/test steps.

    Mastery of problem identification work is therefore accompanied by mastery of noise or vibration reduction techniques in order to be able to offer solutions with the best efficiency/cost ratios.

    Validation by experience, guided by procedures or standards, makes it possible to judge the disappearance of a problem and/or simply an improvement in the overall behavior of a system.

    To carry out its missions, the Group has a wide range of measuring equipment, from the most traditional to the most advanced technology. In addition to the characterization resources available at our various operating sites, our mobility allows our teams to travel to customers to characterize in-situ the behavior of defective systems or anticipate changes during the course of a product.

    The Group also has many means of characterizing materials and our tests enrich our knowledge bases in order to draw from them the most suitable and/or most innovative solutions to offer our customers.

    The calculation software suites, compatible with those used by our customers, offer the possibility of hybridization of our studies by relying on simulation for the optimization of solution integration.
