ISO 16750 Testing
Electrical and electronic systems

essais 16750 systèmes électriques électroniques

The 6NAPSE Group carries out ISO 16750 tests to qualify the electrical and electronic equipment of vehicles in environmental conditions.

ISO 16750 certification is aimed at the qualification of road vehicles. The document specifies environmental procedures and tests for electrical and electronic equipment. It applies, in fact, to the electrical and electronic systems/components of vehicles.

It describes the potential environmental constraints and specifies the recommended tests and requirements for the specific mounting location on/in the vehicle.

ISO 16750, vehicle electrical and electronic system testing

The 6NAPSE Group carries out tests according to ISO 16750 on the electrical and electronic systems and components of road vehicles. ISO 16750 has five parts.

  • ISO 16750-1: General
  • ISO 16750-2: Electrical charges
  • ISO 16750-3: Mechanical loads / vibrations
  • ISO 16750-4: Climatic loads / stoving and sealing tests
  • ISO 16750-5: Chemical loads / susceptibility to fluids

Our tests on electrical equipment

The 6NAPSE Group carries out the validation of electric batteries according to your needs:

  • Vibration testing: assessment of the ability of electrical energy storage to withstand vibrations that would occur in the living environment or during transport
  • Mechanical testing: determination of the resistance to mechanical shocks that may occur in the use of the equipment
  • Altitude testing: simulation of pressure variations in air transport
  • Impact testing: impact resistance of a material, component, part or packaging during transport
  • Drop test: evaluation of the resistance to falls that may occur during installation in the switchgear
  • Salt spray corrosion testing: characterization of the resistance of electrical energy storage under salt spray conditions (cycled BS possible)
  • Thermal shock testing: identification of the assembly’s ability to withstand rapid temperature variations
  • IP sealing tests: verification of sealing according to the protection index (IPXX)
  • Chemical resistance testing
  • Chemical analysis and elemental determination of lithium
  • Tailor-made tests according to your protocol
