6NAPSE, testing laboratory

6NAPSE Testing is a testing laboratory specialized in carrying out validation and qualification tests (vibration, mechanical, environmental and sealing) for industry.

The testing laboratory is located on the Campus de l’Espace in Normandy near Paris, in France. The technology park covers an area of 1200m².

Sealing testing (IPXX)

Beyond its large technical park, 6NAPSE Testing carries out the design and assembly of test benches to respond to system validations according to several physical constraints.

Our teams conduct multi-physical tests, ranging from standardized testing (DO 160, MIL-STD, EN 61373, ISTA3, ISO8, etc.) to tailor-made testing, guaranteeing flexibility, agility and quality. We also support manufacturers in drafting validation plans when products are not directly subject to a standard or when a manufacturer wishes to qualify a technologically disruptive product.

Vibration testing

The 6NAPSE Group testing laboratory performs vibration tests up to 125kN.

  • Pieces up to 3m wide and 2 tons
  • Cleanliness class ISO7/8 zone
  • Vibration tests coupled with climatic -70°C +180°C
  • Cooling for hydraulic circuit -50°C +200°C

Our asset? The tooling and the part-vibrator interface! We carry out the design for the sizing, simulation and manufacture of the tools.

Mechanical fatigue testing

The 6NAPSE Group supports manufacturers in optimizing the lifespan of their products, their mechanical durability and their behavior in terms of maneuvering effort.

  • Mechanical tests
    • Static, dynamic stiffness
    • Tensile / compression / bending / deformation tests
    • Maneuvering forces
    • Shock and impact tests
  • Maneuvering endurance tests
    • Reproduction of movements
    • Cycling tests on a single part or complete system
  • Fatigue tests
    • Durability tests: resistance to repetitive tests
    • Low frequency vibration test
    • Multi-physics test (mechanical, thermal, electrical)
    • Mechanical fatigue test by application of alternating stresses using cylinders

    Climatic testing

The testing laboratory performs accelerated aging of materials. The climatic cycle or thermal shock test makes it possible to qualify or control the evolution of parts under conditions adapted to your specifications or according to existing standards.

Temperatures range from -70°C to +200°C and the enclosures offer relative humidity control. The site has 6 cycling chambers and 1 thermal shock chamber.

Following the test, it is possible to observe the evolution of an assembly or a sub-assembly in a Group laboratory.

Sealing testing / Ingress protection testing

These tests make it possible to check the water or dust sealing of products, materials or coatings according to the ingress protection (IP) ratings. These sealing tests make it possible to control the behavior of the coatings and materials, to check the functional tightness and to observe the aging under environmental constraints.

    • IP1X to IP4X
    • IP5X (cat 1 enclosures, test without depression)
    • IPX3, 4, 5, 6, 6K, 7, 9K (sprinkler head (3 and 4 / water jet (5, 6 and 6K) /
    • Immersion (7) / High pressure jet (9K)
    • Aspersion

6NAPSE test facilities can qualify small and large parts, up to 2 meters and 800kg.

    Our ambition

The testing laboratory is continually in the process of investment and seeks to constantly reinvent itself according to the needs of industrial customers. Thus, we support our strategy of development and investment in the means and skills to respond to the market for hydrogen, packaging, medical devices, defense and security, new mobility, e-powertrain, etc. .
