Ceramic analysis and testing

The 6NAPSE Group carries out the analysis and expertise of ceramics. The laboratory characterizes the surfaces and the inclusions, we also determine the origin of a breakage.

Ceramic characteristics

Ceramic is a non-metallic, non-organic mineral material. Technical ceramics are used in particular in industrial or military applications.

Indeed, in recent years the use of ceramics has increased in industry, in electrical assemblies, heat-resistant bearings used in vehicle and aircraft engines, construction materials and other key parts.

Our equipment park has many technical means: an optical microscope and SEM-EDX for microscopic analysis, laser diffraction granulometry in order to carry out a granulometric analysis of particles, also ICP-AES and ICP-MS to carry out the chemical analysis and elemental assays.

We also carry out Glass Analysis (characterization of inclusions in the glass, glass surface, etc.)
