Chemical analysis laboratory
The 6NAPSE Group carries out the chemical analysis of your materials for the characterization and validation of your materials.
Chemical analysis laboratory
The composition of a material or product is one of the chemical characteristics to be validated during product receptions or noted failures.
Our laboratory has strong expertise in elemental analysis and sample preparation, particularly in methods for dissolving compounds, an essential and delicate step in inorganic analyzes by ICP. The method makes it possible to carry out very precise assays, from the order of PPM to PPB.
Our analytical chemistry methods
Semi-quantization
by X-ray fluorescence gun
X-ray fluorescence analysis enables semi-quantitative analysis of the chemical composition (elements and contents) of metals and minerals. The portable means promotes rapid and non-destructive analysis.
Chemical composition
by ICP-AES (ICP-OES)
ICP-AES analysis allows for precise quantitative chemical analysis and determination of nearly 70 elements of the periodic table.
Ion analysis
by ion chromatography
Ion chromatography analysis involves separating, identifying and quantifying the presence of ions in materials (organic and inorganic samples). This analysis makes it possible to characterize inorganic anions such as fluorides, chlorides, sulfates, phosphates, but also organic anions such as acetates, formates or oxalates.
Chemical analysis of metals
by OES
Analysis by OES (optical emission spectrometry) makes it possible to determine the chemical composition of metals (steel, aluminium, etc.) in relation to a standard or a material certificate. It is also possible to determine a shade.
Carbon-sulfur assay
by C/S analyzer
C/S analysis is used to measure carbon and sulfur in a metallic sample. It provides a high level of accuracy and is complementary to SEO.
Identification of elemental impurities and heavy metals
by ICP-AES and ICP-MS
Analysis by ICP-AES and ICP-MS makes it possible to validate the conformity of a product with respect to a standard. It leads to the identification of inorganic elements, elemental impurities, heavy metals or even SVHC (ICH-Q3D, Pharmacopoeia, California Proposition 65, REACH, etc.). The quantification limit is very low and the precision high.
Semi-quantification of pollution
by SEM-EDX and infrared spectrometry
The analysis of foreign bodies by SEM-EDX and IRTF spectrometry makes it possible to identify the nature and morphology of a particle or deposit. It also consists in determining the origin of the pollution thanks to a database of more than 10,000 references.
Chemical analysis applications for Industry
- Confirm the chemical composition of a mixture
- Detect traces of heavy metals (ICH Q3D, ISO, USP233, Pharmacopoeia, California Proposition 65, …)
- Analyze substances and check compliance (REACH, RoHS)
- Check the conformity of products according to specifications or specifications
- Characterize an unknown deposit / elemental impurity
- Check the conformity of a formula or a material
- Deform a product to compare its chemical composition with another product
- Analysis of poor metals: aluminium, thalium, indium…
- Precise elementary dosage (heavy metals, pollution, CDC edition, …) according to current standards
- Advanced applications and R&D project
- Development of ICP-MS measurement methodologies adapted to new materials
