MIL STD Testing
Military product qualification
The 6NAPSE Group carries out qualification tests for the defense industry according to the military specification MIL-STD 810 / MIL-STD 810G / MIL-STD 810H.
The MIL-STD-810 specification is made up of around twenty laboratory tests. They aim to simulate the actual extreme conditions that the device will face during daily use. Indeed, the MIL-STD 810 tests aim to validate that the product is robust and resistant for use in a real professional environment.
Beyond its military application, the MIL-STD-810 standard is also increasingly used for civilian equipment that needs to meet extreme conditions of use.
MIL-STD-810 addresses a wide range of environmental conditions which include: low pressure for altitude testing, exposure to high and low temperatures as well as thermal shock (both in operation and in storage), rain (including wind blowing and freezing rain), humidity, salt spray for corrosion/rust testing, exposure to dust and water (IP ingress protection), shipping shock and vibration, etc.
