Characteristics of Aluminum in Industry

Aluminum is the most widely used metal after iron. Its resistance to corrosion, its good electrical and thermal conductivity, its lightness, its malleability and its durable coloring make aluminum a material widely used in industry and crafts, particularly in aeronautics, transport and construction.

There are two main categories: wrought aluminum alloys and foundry aluminum alloys.

    Validation and corrosion testing
