The 6NAPSE Group carries out mechanical testing. We ensure the reliability and mechanical durability of the materials. We support industry in the study, analysis and testing of products or parts.

Mechanical reliability testing

A part under stress in an assembly, vibrations that affect the life of materials or even mechanical deformations under stress are all cases in which the mechanical reliability of the system is put to the test. The parts are thus subjected to repeated stresses during their life cycle.

As a result, they approach their rupture zone, their lifespan, until they lead to damage or degradation (rupture, breakage, fatigue, crack, etc.). The mechanical reliability tests will reproduce these efforts in a real or aggravated way to measure / estimate a lifespan.

The efforts can be unilateral (along one axis) or along several coupled axes.

The objective is to validate that the part has no plastic deformation. We also carry out endurance tests using the Locati+ method.

The 6NAPSE Group carries out reliability studies and mechanical qualification of systems for all industries (transport/mobility, aeronautics and space, sports and leisure, defence, industrial production, etc.).

  • Strength of the material and its behavior

  • Location of the breaking point (area of weakness of the product)
  • Identification of the moment when the part reaches the end of its elastic domain to enter its plastification domain (risk of rupture, fatigue)

  • Mechanical durability tests: mechanical tests (traction, compression, bending, deformation, shocks) and endurance to maneuver (cycling, reproduction of movements)

  • Dynamic characterization: displacement curves as a function of effort (or dynamic stiffness)
